On 11th September 2015, we departed to Paris for our Euro Trip. The trip took us 7 countries in one go. How about we added another country? So, we decided to use Emirates Airline which will make a pit-stop at Dubai. Departed at 1020 (Malaysia local time) and arrived in Dubai International Airport at 1250 (Dubai local time). We stayed in Dubai for 15 long hours. Well, kami memang sengaja nak ambil gap yang lama di Dubai so that we can explore Dubai for a while.

Masa nak depart, Malaysia dah cerah tapi
Dubai still dark.
Ohh look! Comfy kit.
During our arrival in Dubai, we had a really hard time to rent a car because they didn't accept any debit or cash. They only accept credit card for their payment. It's hard for us because none of us had a credit card. Then, we found a rental car company which accept cash in Terminal 1. So, we took a shuttle from Terminal 3 (where our plane landed) to Terminal 1. Too bad, we need to put AED 1000 for deposit. There goes 4 hours of deciding whether to rent a car or not. In the end, all of us agreed to take a Metro.

There are Metro just across the Terminal 1. To take a Metro, you need a daily pass which cost us AED 22 and you can go anywhere along the red line route or also known as Area 2.

Anis and Faris were trying to get the info around Dubai. If you wanna buy a Metro ticket,
you can either go to the kiosk near the information machine or buy it at the counter.
If you wanted to go to Burj Khalifa, take the Jebel Ali direction. And this is
the red line route.
The Metro card. Don't lose it.
Boleh simpan buat kenangan.

Kau ingat Dubai tu macam negara kaya-kaya, tapi kalau earn below than AED 5k, kau dikira orang sederhana je. Tu Azim la yang habaq. Nak makan KFC, harga dia mahal nak mampus. Lagi mahal dari Malaysia. Anyway, Dubai tu dah macam KL. Cuma, KL banyak Bangladeshi dan Dubai pulak banyak Filipino and Bangladeshi.

We all planned to go to Burj Khalifa. After a few pit-stops, we arrived at Dubai Mall. Jangan harap la train tu nak berhenti bawah Dubai Mall macam kat KLCC. Oh no no no no!
We still need to walk for about 15 - 20 minutes before we really arrived at the Dubai Mall. The pathway from the Metro station to Dubai Mall is just like the pathway from Pavilion to KLCC (you know what I mean).

The effing huge Dubai Mall.
Dubai Mall is freaking huge! We almost got lost in there. It feels like Mid Valley + Sunway Pyramid + KLCC + OneUtama in there.
There are a lot of branded stores and what intrigued me was the Lamborghini store. Why? Because they put a real Lambo car in the store. I think it's a Chrome Aventador (correct me if I'm wrong).

I touch an Aventador. Yey.

Then we went to the food court to get some food into our system. I was hoping for some cheap food sold there. But I was wrong. All the foods sold there were fast food. You can get Subway, KFC and so much more there. We decided to buy KFC bucket and shared it among us. Sharing is caring and share pun still mahal. Oh yaa, the food court in Dubai Mall is always full. But you can always find a seat outside the mall. Rooftop gittew. Why? Because it's hot outside and no one wanted to eat under the hot weather.

Then, we planned to go to Burj Khalifa. Too bad, the entrance fee was quite expensive. And we really didn't prepare for Dubai (in term of money). So, we went outside the Dubai Mall and enjoy the scenery out there. It's hot. Sila bawa bekalan air to prevent dehydration.

Kat luar Dubai Mall ni, memang dah macam KLCC. You can view the Dubai skyline and the Emirates Tower from the Dubai Mall. If you go to Dubai Mall during night time, take a seat and enjoy the fountain performance.

The fountain performance at Dubai Mall and the building right across there
is the Emirates Tower.
Burj Khalifa

At 2100, we went back to Terminal 3 by using the Metro. If you are using Metro, please be aware of the last train schedule. To go to the airport, take the Rasyidiya direction.

Arrived at the airport and wait for our next flight to Paris at 0410. While waiting for our flight, Emirates has given us a food voucher and we can eat at any restaurant stated in the voucher. We chose Mezanine restaurant as they offer buffet to the customers.

Badan dah berbau sebab berpeluh. Don't worry. They provide a place where you can take a bath.
Feeling sleepy? They provide a recline chair where you can sleep like no one gives a damn.
You are an underage kid and feeling kinda bored? There's a place where you can play the console games.

Mereput !
Damaged in Dubai,
